Puerto Vallarta the once sleepy little quaint Pacific beach town quaint what it used to be. Her crown jewel the Malecon Boardwalk has inspired writers, painters, and musicians since the 1960's when Elizabeth Taylor put it on the map with her movie, Night of the Iguanna. This two mile stretch of beach and restaraunts has been decorated by none other than Sergio Bustamante, renowned artist and sculptor.
Four months of this $50 million peso Malecon upgrade is due to complete very soon. Until its finished, the automobile traffic on the Paseo Díaz Ordaz will be closed and there will be some changes to trafic and signs. During the remodel, everything is open for business as usual. As of the writing of this, they are almost done! Its very beautiful, worth every peso!

Puerto Vallarta Music Scene features Arcano
Our very own Jalisco duet Arcano from Guadalajara set the stage on fire over the new years festivities in Puerto Vallarta.
Erika del Real and her brother Vick began their studies in 1992, and later formed part of the Alica foundation of Nayarit’s youth orchestra, where Erika on violin and Vick on viola have been featured in many important concerts, throughout all of Mexico.
The name Arcano stems from the Italian language, it means mystery. If you watched their stage show it seems no mystery the hybrid of the words Arch Angel and Volcano seems to fit well as one possible description. Erica lit the stage up like an angel bowing the notes into the night with the creational forces of a volcano. This writers only regret was that I didnt buy more cd's when I had the chance. We have included some of their You tube collection for your listening enjoyment. (and ours!) Feel free to come back and visit us really soon Arcano.
